Grade 7s put their design thinking skills to practical use by replicating a famous structure. Students learned about the history and construction of famous structures. They did research and created blueprint plans to make smaller models that would accentuate the key form and features of their structures.

Finally, they presented their research and models and reflected on the issues in building even a small model of their structures. Each design and execution was unique even when students chose the same or similar structures.
