Creativity blossomed at home during online learning.
RHA combined classes into grade groups and fit art into the 11:30-12 break using Seesaw and Google Classroom. Students were able to make art synchronously with the teacher and each other and continued working on their learning at their own pace. The teacher responded to their posted work individually and was able to give suggestions and check understanding. The relationships built previously with students were deepened because the teacher had more time to engage with them individually online. Students enjoyed live, interactive lessons together immensely. With online learning, instruction continued to effectively convey the concepts in the curriculum, with slideshow examples and live demonstrations. Students delved into the elements and principles of art and design in more detail than anyone imagined they could!
