RHA Privacy Commitment

Robbins Hebrew Academy is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information.  When you, as a parent, student, alumnus or other individual, provide personal information to the School, such as your name, address and telephone number, it is shared with all areas of the School including the Accounting, Admissions and Development offices, as well as, the RHA Board of Directors, Parents’ Association, Student Council and RHA volunteers, so that we may communicate with you.

We believe that our RHA Family is enriched through our efforts to connect students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends with the school and with one another.  During the course of our various projects and activities, including school registration, personal information gathered is used to deliver services to keep you up to date on the activities of RHA, including programs, services, special events, funding needs, opportunities to volunteer or to give, and to keep you informed through publications.

RHA values the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognize that we must be transparent and accountable in how we treat the information that you choose to share with us.  The School keeps records of names, addresses and telephone numbers, along with other personal information that is publicly available or provided through interactions with RHA staff, volunteers and community members.  Personal information gathered by RHA is kept in confidence and under no circumstances is it rented, sold or given to any organization outside the School.

The Accounting, Admissions and Development offices store personal information in a confidential database and in secure files located on-site at RHA.  Access to this information is restricted to authorized staff and volunteers who have been trained in dealing with information in accordance with our privacy standards and who have signed a confidentiality agreement.  Third parties who act on behalf of RHA to assist in Development programs, such as mailing houses, are required to adhere to these privacy standards.  You have the right to view your school office files upon request.

RHA respects your privacy.  We protect personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements with respect to protecting privacy.  We do not rent, sell or trade our mailing lists.  The information you provide will be used to deliver services and to keep you informed and up to date on the activities of RHA, including programs, services, special events, funding needs (the RHA Board of Directors, Parents’ Association, Student Council), opportunities to volunteer or to give, open houses and more through periodic contacts.  If you wish to be removed from any of these contacts, please inform the Head of School in writing of your withdrawal of consent.
